g75 - wireless display (widi)

I'm getting ready to purchase a new laptop and one of the things I've been drooling over is the intel wireless display tech. I can't seem to find anything that says if the g75 has it built in. Can anyone help clear this up for me? If it doesn't have the official intel widi, is there a way to get the same functionality?

I have the 6235 installed, put it in and took it out twice. It's pretty easy but you must do some research. I have not tried the Wireless Display but Intel says it is included in the adapter.

My point about this card is that Intel does not support these cards to "the enduser" only to computer builders. If you buy one like me through Amazon and install it yourself, and it dies or if you need support... there is none! The card works very well, but just a warning.

I have the 6235 in g75vw - I couldn't get the software to work. Let me know if you are able to get it.

If youare speaking about the WiDi, i dont intend to use it, I don't intend to but the box for the TV.

Yes, widi. I just want to see if it works with our laptops or not. I think ps3 is widi compatible but I haven't been able to load the widi wireless display software.

WiDi requires intel's gpu/wifi/cpu . Works on my msi ge70 (which has the HD4000 alongside the gtx660). Does not work on my G75 (with the 6235 installed). WiDi is compatible with the ps3 and and just about any dlna client. But it's horrible. The screen delay is about 3-5 seconds. With an actual WiDi receiver attached to your tv it's way better. Feels like a half second delay or less. It was fun to play with for a little while but I lost interest once I realized that it wasnt capable of sending DD or DTS signals. I think that issue might be fixed in a higher end WiDi receiver but i'm not shelling out extra cash for another one.

Does the G46VW have WiDi capabilities? I was told that it was ready to use, and that all I needed was the Netgear Push2TV adapter. But the idiots at GeekSquad failed to install half of the drivers for my computer. I tried installing the application from ASUS' website, but it says that the platform either doesn't support it, or is already running.
