G75 random freezes (crashes)

Hey all,

i just bought the european version of the asus g75 and i am experiencing som rather anoying problems.
for starters my computer doesn't seem quite as fast, having problems even with older games like crysis and borderlands.

the second big issue is that my battery isn't powerful enough to power the machine on high performance mode, inducing screen flickers and massive fps drops.

the battery thing is fixed when i plug it in, so i come to my biggest concern; my computer freezes up and crashes on random occasions, even when 'im not even using 10% of the thing's capability's!

i really hope anyone has a solution for these problems, especialy the first and last one...

No - I recommend you leave the BIOS alone for your testing to determine if you are going to keep or return the laptop.

It keeps crashing after a complete clean install (for wich i went to the place i bought it)
I think i'm going to send it to asus.

It looks like you've got a hardware problem, since the ASUS Factory Restore failed to resolve the crashes.

Since you just purchased the G75, I would contact your retailer and see if you can exchange your defective laptop for a new one, rather than sending it to ASUS for repair.
