Hi all,
I have Asus 17,3" ROG Strix SCAR17 G732LXS and I have bought two EK-M.2 NVMe heatsinks for my SSD's (Intel 660p 1TB and Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB).
However bottom case have three plastic "protuberances" (color red on picuture) which prevent me to close the bottom case. If I don't need those I thought I use sandpaper to hone enough off.
SSDs with heatsinks installed only fit for M.2 slots 2 and 3 because heatsink backplate, so does someone also knows what that metal thing (yellow) is below SSDs and should I use insulating tape between it and heatsink backplate (at least heatsink clips conducts electricity)?
Thank you.
