I’ve had an asus rog strix g15 advantage edition for 2 years now, and I’m no tech genius but it’s not supposed to reboot in the middle of me doing something… it’s been going on since I’ve had it after 8 months and multiple times a day at that. It’s been in repairs 4 times now and they can’t find the issue, though it clearly states something with Kernel power in the log. Hecc it just came back and they said they can’t find the issue, but I know once I pick it up it will go back to rebooting. I tried to refund it but they need to find the issue for that… I think I’ll tell the man to boot up a league game and give it 20 minutes and he will easily find it… and please don’t tell me to simply not play games on it, because it’s literally a gaming laptop. It’s meant for games, and if it can’t run league I’m sorry but it’s Jover. It can’t even run YouTube and word at the same time, reboots as I do school work. It reboots so many times, much more than after the last time it was in repairs.
I have upgraded, downgraded and reinstalled windows, drivers, bios, changed thermal paste, used a laptop cooling pad, uninstalled armory crate and reinstalled it… the ******ter is doomed and I want my 2000 back. I’m not looking for a fix anymore, I literally just want my money back, let them have the laptop… How do I act now? They’ll just be like “we can’t find the issue so there’s no issue!” For the 5th time next time…
