Fps stutter and not smooth at all.

Hi all,

Recently bought an ASUS Rog Strix (nvidia rtx 4060, 16gb, intel i7-13650hx) 16 a month ago and all was fine within the first 2 weeks. Now when i play destiny 2 or god of war the fps goes from 150 to 50 constantly. Its become very jumpy and not stable at all and i dont know why? All drivers are up to date and when i play the games the GPU temp is around 93 degrees. Im not very tech savvy and starting to loose the plot because iv spent alot of money on a laptop and i cant play it to its potential. Any help or ideas which i can try will be appreciated.

Hi i hawe strix g17 2023 with 4080 and mine temps when playin are around 70-80 im thinking your gpu overhiting.Rma it

Thanks for your reply, it goes up to 95 degrees most of the time. I think the cpu is throttling itself so it doesn’t damage itself, hence why Iv got fps spikes! Iv sent it back to get checked out by ASUS anyway. Coming to collect it today then we can see what they say
