Hello. Recently I picked up a new system and started to play FFXIV again on it. I7700 CPU, GTX 1070 GPU, 16g ram.. And FFXIV runs great on it on max settings.. Expect in trials.. Outside of trials, such as in towns or playing by myself I get 120 FPS locked, all the time everywhere.. But as soon as I enter a trail and the AOE start happening my FPS instantly drops from 100+ to between 1-10 FPS.. My GPU usage drops to 0% and my CPU usage spikes to 100%. I've tried to disable every setting and run every graphical mode but it still happens.. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Is there a fix? I'd love to keep playing FFXIV, but with a problem like this the game is unplayable.
