Title: Performance Issues with BIOS 318 on ROG Strix SCAR 18 (FC25) Post: Hi everyone, After updating my ROG Strix SCAR 18 (Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX) to BIOS version 318, I’ve noticed serious performance issues, especially while running FC25. Before the update, everything ran smoothly with both P-cores and E-cores enabled. After updating, however, FC25 started stuttering frequently and overall performance dropped significantly. I tried setting CPU affinity to force the game to use only P-cores, but Windows gives me an “Access Denied” error. The only workaround that helps is disabling all E-cores via BIOS, which improves performance in FC25—but obviously limits the full potential of the hardware. Is anyone else experiencing this with BIOS 318? Any known solutions or rollback methods? It would be great if ASUS could offer better control over core behavior in future BIOS updates.
