1. Check for Conflicting Drivers:

  • Sometimes, Windows updates can clash with existing drivers.
  • Open Device Manager (search for it in the Start menu) and check for any devices with exclamation marks next to them.
  • This indicates a driver issue.
  • You can try updating those drivers or rolling them back to a previous version.

2. Analyze the BSOD Error Message:

  • The BSOD screen might have displayed an error message.
  • If you can recall it, try searching online for that specific code.
  • This might give you clues about the cause of the crash.

3. Disable Fast Startup:

  • Fast Startup can sometimes cause conflicts with updates.
  • Try disabling it
  • Open Control Panel (search for it in the Start menu)
  • Go to Hardware and Sound > Power Options
  • Click "Choose what the power buttons do"
  • Click "Change settings that are currently unavailable"
  • Uncheck the box1 for "Turn on fast startup (recommended)"
  • Click "Save changes"

4. Run System File Checker:

  • This tool can scan for and fix corrupted system files that might be causing the BSODs.
  • Open Command Prompt as administrator and type: sfc /scannow

5. Consider a BIOS Downgrade (if possible):

  • While ASUS doesn't officially support downgrading BIOS versions, some laptops might have a hidden option.
  • However, proceed with caution as downgrading can introduce new problems.
  • Check your laptop's manual or search online forums specific to your model for instructions on downgrading (if available).

6. Contact ASUS Support:

  • If none of the above solutions work, it's best to reach out to ASUS support.
  • Explain the issue and the steps you've already tried.
  • They might have further troubleshooting steps or a BIOS update patch that addresses the problem.

Thanks for your help.

1. In device manager - all ok.

2. By bluescreenview-x64 app crash caused by ntoskrnl.exe.

4. All done with sfc/scannow, it is ok.

5. BIOS Downgrade is blocked. Try it by asus ez, winflash.

Thanks one more, i will try №3 and then №6.

№3 - fast boot is disabled.
