My laptop is running with 1660 Graphics and intel Graphics. All of a sudden Nvidia stopped working with an error code 43 saying "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems."

(Code 43)

  • I tried everything including clean windows installation. Can someone help me fix the issue. I hve tried uninstalling and installing multiple versions of drivers. Once worked after installing graphics drivers via myasus. But after 2 days back to code 43.

Hello,

Is it still on the older drivers that previously worked?

Could be failing, I say this as it's one of the most common issues with that generation laptop GPU. (Solder joints degraded over time due to thermal cycling).

yes bro same driver. (2022 version) .  I have asked from a technician about re soldering but he said  the cost is high and  working probability is 50:50

Well if you are in need of a new laptop now is the time. Yes a full chip replacement is not worth the costs but if you need a temp fix, as in might help there is the hot air method. One would use a hot air station to heat up the chip and motherboard to a specific temp in the hopes that this might reflow the solder joints.

It can work but I only advise that on laptops that have no hope so as a method of trying to save / last attempt before they get binned.
