I have an ASUS ROG Strix G513QM which has had to be RMA'ed for a new motherboard 3 times.
I got it back from repair two days ago but Windows corrupted while it was updating. Recovery failed and I have had to do a clean install.
I have reinstalled Windows and supporting software twice, but both times the laptop repeatedly freezes and black screens every couple of seconds. Immediately after I do a clean install the system is stable, however, as I start adding maintenance tools, GeForce Experience, MyASUS, etc it becomes increasingly unstable.
Is there a list of essential software that I should install on an ASUS ROG Strix or does ASUS provide a clean Windows image I can download that contains all of the software I need?
When the system was returned from ASUS last time, if I opened Armour Crate even once it would not load games at all and I had to do a full system reset to undo whatever Armour Crate did.
