how can i charge my laptop from the Thunderbolt port ?

You must put the USB type C charger in the port and after this just watch how the magic hapen

I did it but the laptop didn't charge 
i tried it with a 9 volt 18 w charger

also the charging led turned on

you need to do it with a supported charge and fyi its 20v 5A
