Hello. I'm experiencing a critical issue with my ROG Strix G16 (Model G614JZ, i7-13650HX + RTX 4080). Whenever I minimize/maximize games or use Alt+Tab or in any other case of a sudden increase or decrease in the wattage of the graphics card
The charging LED turns off for 2-3 seconds (white light disappears).
Windows shows "Connected, not charging" → then switches to "Charging".
Simultaneous FPS drops and micro-stutters occur.
Reproduction Steps:
Games: Any demanding titles (Cyberpunk 2077, Alan Wake 2, Horizon Zero Dawn).
PSU: Original 330W adapter.
Software:
BIOS 331,
NVIDIA Driver 576.88.
CPU/GPU Temps: CPU - 80-90, GPU - 85-87 (hotspot - 105).
Troubleshooting Performed:
EC reset (held power button 40 sec without PSU).
Disabled all optimizations in GeForce Experience + Windows.
Tested with different 330W PSU.
Replaced power jack.
P.S. This severely impacts gaming - causes micro-freezes and ruins online matches. Generic solutions (OS/driver reinstall) have been attempted without success.
