Can't find ROG Aura Core after formating my GL503VD

I bought Asus GL503VD with win10 home, so I had to upgrade it to Win 10 Enterprise in order to be able to join a domain.
I went to a clean installation and I downloaded all drives from the Asus web

But I couldn't find the ROG Aura Core to control the keyboard lights (I download it from another website but it didn't work) I can't control the Keyboard lights now 😞

Also I've noticed in win10 home "Asus Splendid Video" installed, but It is not on the package of win10 drivers on the website it is on Win8 drivers only.. Should I install win8 version? and do I really need it? 😛

After all the reinstalling and all, you need to download from "microsoft Store" the version "ROG Aura Core" then if there is a problem with the download you need to make a .bat archive with this:

sc config wuauserv start= auto
sc config bits start= auto
sc config DcomLaunch start= auto
net stop wuauserv
net start wuauserv
net stop bits
net start bits
net start DcomLaunch


After running it, restart the laptop and try to download again, it should work.

Asus now provides these instructions for the GL703 series: Please note, MUST follow below steps to install the application:
1. Go to MS store to install the latest version of ROG Aura Core.
2. Download and double click the Setup.exe to install the Aura Core Component app.
3. Download and run install.bat as administrator to install the Aura Lighting Service app.

Same thing happened to me. I just downloaded newest from the ASUS website. ROG Aura Core works again! I can change and apply everything. EXCEPT... Brightness. My keyboard is at 33 percent. Aura Core slider moves, but does not change the keyboard brightness.

Does this happen on anyone else's laptop?

my slider works, maybe "ASUS Keyboard hotkeys Driver" download under your model. There also is a windows store app: ASUS Keyboard Hotkeys.

Tried that. No go, Aura Core fully works except the brightness of the keyboard. It does not change regardless of slider position.

The only driver I didnt installed is "ROG_Game_Visual_Win10_64_VER1020001"
when I tried to install it, it gave an error msg "unable to install ROG GameVisual (error nimber: could not find ICM file)"

Have you fixed the ICM file issue? I am trying to fix this as well. please let me know
