[BUG] G513QY Laptop having degraded performance with Bios 318 update

Hello ASUS Engineering,

Please help the community to investigate the recently reported claims, as of the Bios Update 318 on ASUS ROG G513QY laptop, users reporting:

1. Max fan speeds lower (maxing around 6300 RPM instead 7000+ RPM) as was with the older Bios 316.
2. People reporting degraded CPU performance (FPS/benchmarks).
3. Someone reported random reboot issues returned after updating to bios 318.

We would appreciate if you could compare both bios releases and ensure any degradation issues to be patched and corrected as possible.

Noticed a similar issue, the fans won;t spin as fast, the GPU would throttle after three minutes of intensive gaming on a 75F room temperature, capping it to around 1.8.-1.90GHz while using around 70-100W. Feels like an Radeon RX6800S instead of an RX 6800M. Common Asus, you can do better than this! Can we downgrade this? Is there a way for this?

Update: Downgraded the BIOS and the fan speed ramped up slightly with better thermals but not by a lot, end up changing the thermal paste and the temps went down by 12C at the GPU hot spot, yikes!!

Will do the same.
Which thermal paste did you use?
You also did changes to the CPU liquid metal?
