Its the 3rd time I got a BSOD after installing nvidia 310.33 drivers on my G55 with GTX 660m... I have no problems with 306.97

the bad thing is the two first times I had to reinstall windows because I couldnt get to boot safe mode
this time i was lucky and windows restored itself

anyone else having this trouble?

Let me guess, you're running firmware 214? If so just revert back to 209 and problem solved.

I flashed 209 back and now i dont have any problems with the driver, thanks

to downgrade I followed this from C_Man: http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?22595-How-do-you-downgrade-bios-on-G55VW&highlight=%2Fnodat...

Type:
cd C:\Program Files (x86)\ASUS\WinFlash

Push Enter.

(this is the default install location)

Type:
Winflash /nodate

Push Enter.

Choose the old BIOS and it will let you update (and give you a warning saying it's older).

Let it run, do not do anyhting else. It will ask for Restart. Do it. It should test the BIOS and shutdown from what I remember. Then just start it from Power.
