Just wondering if anyone could help me, I'm getting a BSOD whenever I try burning something onto disc (video or audio) with the message "irql not less than or equal" i think

When I open itune it tells me that there is a problem with the registry for it although no messages for any other burning tools

could anyone shed some light on this or maybe post up their registry values for their drive

my drive is a mats-hita bd mlt uj240afw

edited name of drive for censor filter

thanks

1) Try the Upperfilters / Lowerfilters registry edit solution in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/982116. Be sure to backup your registry first.

2) There may be a conflict between the drivers of the multiple burner programs installed on your laptop. Pick one and uninstall the others one at a time, rebooting after each uninstallation to allow the program's drivers to be removed from the driver stack.
