BSOD after SSD installation

Hi, i have a ASUS Rog Strix G512L, I purchased a Crucial P3 Plus PCle 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD 4TB, I installed it correctly into the 2nd SSD space, rebooted my laptop to be greeted by the dreaded blue screen of death with the error code - KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE

I know for a fact I did this correctly as it’s not the first time I’ve done this but never had this issue before, is it simply faulty hardware? Or is there a way for me to fix it?

I’ve since removed the 2nd SSD and the laptop rebooted as normal.

Try disabling the "VMD Controller" option in the BIOS.
