This is for the ROG Strix Scar G733PY (Non X3D) on Windows 11 Pro 24H2, Bios 334
My main issues is the screen brightness/white level is overly bright when using Ultimate mode or the GPU Only mode in bios.
When using the iGPU or Dynamic in bios/Standard mode and selecting GPU Only in the Nvidia control panel the screen brightness behaves normally, I can view it comfortably on 70-80% brightness.
However when I select Ultimate mode/GPU Only in bios the white level of the screen brightness increases to the point that it hurts my eyes. Lowering the brightness does not affect white brightness and I need to turn it down as low as 40% to view comfortably but then blacks are too dark. I believe this may be due to HDR being forced somehow when using Ultimate/Bios GPU Only because I know whites are elevated in HDR. The odd thing is this laptop doesn't support HDR, just HDR streaming which is a fake HDR mode anyways. It baffles me why this is a thing.

Things I have tried to fix all these issues:
The only other person I found that has one of my issues was here: https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/rog-strix-series/asus-rog-strix-scar-16-g634jz-rtx-4080-is-stuttering-... They also reported the elevated brightness when using Ultimate/GPU Only mode and never got a fix.
After all this I am convinced the abnormal brightness is either a Bios bug or Windows 11 issue since it is present on a clean install. For the gamut issue others have reported their color gamut switch is missing as well.
At this point all I can do is the workaround of using Advanced Optimus and GPU Only in the Nvidia control panel but it seems buggy, I also have to use novideo_srgb to clamp to the srgb color space which I have to re-enable every time due to windows starting with the iGPU.
Ideally I just want to use Ultimate mode in the srgb color space and i'm exhausted jumping through hoops to troubleshoot a $3000.
Any help or other users can share if they have the same issues?
