BIOS Performance settings

I'm not sure if this was already posted, I can not find it.

I saw in a G55 a Performance section in BIOS. When I got mine, it had that. Some people say they do not have it. I had several G75 as well with no Performance settings in BIOS.

Why some laptops have a Performance setting and others don't. Can I have the Performance enabled on my G75? G55 already has it.

I have never tested CPU options since I do not know either and there is no info from Asus. I never mess with things I don't understand.
