BIOS 318 downgraded Completely the CPU WATTAGE  on scar 18 2025

it no longer lets u adjust it once u go in game from 100 watts it goes down in 5-10 seconds to 45-50 wats in manual mode!

its dynamic and only 45watts lost tons of perfomance seriously i should have bought msi titan or lenovo they run fine at 80-100 wattage but u have to limit it at 45w? cpu runs now at 3.7 ghz instead of 4.5-5 ghz

ASUS IF U READ THIS LET US DOWNGRADE BIOS  whats the point of manual mode then?

cant even downgrade to bios now im stuck with 318... seriously asus let us downgrade!! this is a major perfomance loss!!  45 tdp and 3.7 ghz seriously? whats the point of manual mode then?

Yeah. Something sounds off. The new Bios initially gave me temperature spikes. But things are back to normal now. High 40s to 50s while browsing and general use. 

My CPU is currently at 4.7ghz, 55c.. Manual mode still works as normal.

Mind taking a screenshot? Because I can still do all the manual adjustments.

yeah but i talk about in games cases. its fine in the desktop.

Yeah I know. 

I'm still getting normal numbers in games.. Tomb Raider for example is still 5ghz across the board and the GPU 162w CPU 50-62w.

well it still drains battery from charger if the game is using more than 30% of cpu with 62 and up watts thats a bummer lenovo and msi with stronger chargers can mantain up to 100w without discharging this is my 3rd laptop.

I updated to BIOS version 318, and now in dGPU mode I can’t access the BIOS at all. There’s no startup screen or boot sound—it just goes straight into the system. I want to know if it’s possible to downgrade from 318 to 315 or 313. Currently, when I try to update the BIOS using EZ Flash, it shows “BIOS update failed.”

I've noticed for some reason with my 2025 G16 (275hx/5070ti) that if I have Anthony plugged into my USBC/thunderbolt port and I try to load into the BIOS I get a blank screen. If I unplug my hub from that port, it works without issues. No idea why, but that's my experience lol so if you have anything plugged into that pretty try removing it and then booting the BIOS again
