cant unscrew m2 screw gl702VMK

G732LW RTX 2070 uses PCI-E x8 instead of x16

On my laptop, G732LW, I see that the RTX 2070 is using the x8 PCI-E standard instead of x16. Is this normal? It this how it's supposed to be? If not, any tips or suggestions on how to switch to x16?
