ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 18 G834JZR Mini-LED Screen Temperature

Hi,

Is it normal for the default calibration of the whites on this laptop to be so warm and have that greenish/yellowish tint?

Model :  G834JZR-R6076

In Armory Crate, I'm using the default settings.

The only way to get the whites to look more natural is via the Windows (11) Display Calibration tool, but still can't find the proper balance to match the white temperature on other laptops.

I don't know. You sure you don't have night light on or something?

Night light is off. HDR is off. I've even turned off the GameVisual from Armory Crate.

I can calibrate it to look somewhat decent, but was wondering if someone else had the same out of the box experience or I got a lemon.

Hmm, not sure I have the G834JZ so the 2023 version, which has different screen and I haven't had issues with it. I don't know... maybe the color profile is wrong or something... could be the screen, but it's hard to say with just this. Could something else be overriding it like nvidia control panel or maybe the igpu settings like intel graphics comand center or whatnot?
