Hello guys, i`ve just bought my first gaming laptop asus rog strix g17 and i wonder...till now i have had only desktop machines and i know to reinstall my windows, but how to do it on this laptop?

It came with OEM windows 11 home edition and when i started i configured the windows and everything like programs, drivers and etc was installed. So, what to do if i have to reinstall my windows? How to do it? Should i install every program - like armor crate and every driver or it will be installed when i log on? Little help 🙂

Thanks 🙂

Be sure to backup a folder in your root drive (C:) named eSupport, then go to Settings=>System=>Reset this PC.

You could just copy the folder to a USB drive.

The notebook has only one drive (c:) i am using it to play only 1-2 games on it, so i saw there is a folder eSupport, but how i should backup the folder?

and after resetting pc and reinstalling the windows just installing the file in the folder? 🙂

Thank you

Resetting the PC = Windows reinstall (key is not lost).

I'd suggest to keep the eSupport folder in case you need to install any of the drivers. You probably won't need it, but best to keep a copy for safekeeping.
