ASUS Rog strix g18 g814jv no audio device is installed

I have used ccleaner s.w to optimise driver. So audio driver is vanish,

1- I have used latest driver from official website but could not get back. 
I have uninstalled h.w at device manger and tried the audio driver from ASUS website nothing works. Audio device is not installed.

2-I have used windows troubleshooting for audio output many attempts nothing solve this issue.

3-the sound driver named under nvidia high definition audio so I’ve tried update, uninstall and add hw legacy (sound Realtek) after restart got BDOS however could not reboot in safe mode because of stop code:thread exception not handled ….

so I reset windows and lost many apps and the audio driver issue still not fixed.

Happened exaclty the same to me with CCleaner, same exact issue. Glad to know by this post that CCleaner was the issue!

No at all, the problem goes worse, the best solution save all necessary files and format your machine. 
by the way, I have used the following methods and get nothing.

1- reset win 

2- many softwares for drivers installation thus two blue death screens 

3- many registry repair tools 

4- win troubleshoot then installed signature driver

I had the same problem, I optimized all the drivers with ccleaner and now I have no sound.

Hope you sound great,

first you need to backup your data on external storage.

 Second you have make a complete format your machine, however, through that may be you find not your pc storage “driver “ to solve that before formatting download isst files from the website on usb flash then you load drivers in order to find your pc drivers to format and install windows….

that’s only the solution…

note: I’ve tried every possible options and I’ve got various blue d screen.

need to download isst driver not executable set of files ….

Are you sure formatting is the solution? Is that already activated the audio? If so, I only have that, I have already done thousands of things uninstalling and installing Driver and nothing works for me

Unfortunately yes am sure about,I’ve given you my best advice actually, I’ve used all the solutions you can imagine and I got blue d screens consequently I’ve lost all my data so take the opportunity back up your data …

Hello, I formatted my ROG Strix G18, I had to disable WMD technology so that it would detect the hard drive to format and everything was fine up to that point, then after formatting, I enabled WMD technology again and I got a blue screen and Windows would not boot, now I had to disable WMD technology again and now everything works fine and with the sound activated. Only now I have the option to eject the RTX 4070 graphics card as a USB device, any solution?
