Tried booting up my laptop the other day and the screen after startup was just black, no cursor or anything and trying to reset the graphics drivers didn't work
The display still works properly in recovery and safe mode, but nothing I've tried has worked to fix the issue with starting it up normally. (I have not done a full factory reset, I do not wish to do this because I don't have a data backup)
ASUS support says I just have to spend $85 to send it in and get it repaired (not including repair cost itself) but I'd rather not spend that kinda money on a repair until I've expended all other options.
