ASUS ROG Strix G16 rebooting every 60 seconds after repasting

I was wondering if anyone could help me with this. I have an ASUS ROG Strix G16 (G614JI) and I decided to reapply the liquid metal. But ever since the repaste, the laptop won’t boot properly.

Laptop powers on

Fans spin, RGB lights turn on

Black screen (no BIOS, no ASUS logo)

After ~60 seconds, it shuts off

Then it automatically turns back on — repeat loop

I tried to leave it like that for 5mins, but its still doing the same thing over and over again

Did any liquid metal spill out on to the motherboard?

And what is the reason for taking it apart to re apply new liquid metal?

If there is poor contact this can also occur due to the GPU.

I think you will need to take it apart and check the heatsink and motherboard, perhaps take some photos and post here.

Also the VRM (CPU/GPU) and GPU memory chips thermal putty did you remove the old ones and use new putty? (or use something else?)
