So this laptop is getting quite old (more than 3 years old), and Asus used thermal putty to cool the VRAM and VRM (they're getting quite dry already), problem is in my country it's nearly impossible to find thermal putty on the shelf to buy, and ordering from another country is tedious and costly, so I intend to use thermal pads (Gelid GP Extreme to be precise).
I'm struggling to figure out the correct thickness for this, so if you guys could let me know, would be very appreciated!

its not tedious or costly just buy some upsiren ux thermal putty
your cost is mostly coming down to getting the correct thermal pads that fit
and will be multiple thickness's for the vrm and vram
also making sure mounting pressure is correct
