I am Adrian and I am a kinect developer. I ve just bought a new laptop ROG GL252VW for prodction and development. I has all the features asked by Kinect to work.
But when I start developing the Kinect Verifier Tool showed me that usb 3.0 works on 6 to 20 fps, but kinect needs 30 fps.
(I did all power management under Windows10.. so)
So the problem is with USB host controller and usb3.0 bandwidth speed.
The controller is Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller
Any of you guys had this problem?
Does the guys for ASUS knows how to solve this problem?
Any suggestions.. is a powerful laptop and will be a pity to give it away!
I have an older Asus x750j and it works fine... that`s why i bought a better and powerful version.
