I am just wondering if other people have the same issue as I do, I actually have the same exact issue on this laptop what I had on a previous GL703GS version. The charger pin would heat up intermittently so much it cannot be touched, the screen flickers from being powered from battery to AC power. This version now had a built in software that says charger isn't connected properly. However its getting so bad that even if its not moved at all the charger pin is not making a proper contact.
I am deeply disappointed in Asus as I was waiting for the 2024 version to solve the charger issue, and to finally have an OLED display but its only available on the Zephyrus. I guess its time to switch to MSI or Alienware until Asus respects their customer enough to fix the charger.
Thoughts?
