My granddaughters laptop recently had a power issue. It would power on then off with 5-10 seconds. No graphics reached. I installed a new battery and finally got it on. It would not identify it has a nvidea graphics chip in it so I did a factory reset . After that it still did not recognize the card.
I did some searching and found what I thought was a similar issue. They stated to open armory crate and turn off a setting for one of the graphics chip. I assume thats where I screwed up, because after restarting it, I cannot get anything on the monitor. I can get it to start up but thats it. I cannot even get it to do another factory reset.
Maybe the nvidea chip is fried in it and thats why it is not recognizing it? She has only had it a short time and uses it for school work.
Any help very much appreciated. Thanks

Hello,
What year is this laptop or exact model number, usually after the G513rm-"XXXXX"
This could be a case that the nvidia GPU has failed or something else, when off have you tried holding the power button down for 40s to perform a BIOS (EC) reset?

2023, I have tried everything, even called asus and went through it with them. It will not reset including the 40 sec reset with battery out.
