Hello everyone.
So, i bought a new asus rog laptop G18 G814JI a few days ago. After a few days and a few windows updates, i realized that the ethernet cable is not recognized anymore, and the laptop uses only the wifi. I reinstalled the windows, and then the ethernet cable was working again. When i was notified about a windows update again, i checked what was being updated, and one of the things was Realtek - Net to version 10.68 (this update was also present as an optional update on the MyAsus desktop app. And this seems to be the cause of the problem. I had to rollback the driver manually to an older version for the ethernet to work again. Any solution for this besides the rollback?
