As a side note, you can press the 'F12' key to momentarily see the bios model in the bottom right-hand corner which also appears when you start the bios flashing process.
If you prefer, you can also run the ASUS Winflash utility inside Windows, but you need to download and load a bios file to see the Winflash interface and bios version.
If you actually plan to flash the bios though, some people feel it's a little safer to use the bios flash utility inside of the bios instead of Winflash inside of Windows.
