Was your G75VW sold with Win7 or Win8 and do you see a setting for 'Launch CSM' (at the top) under the bios 'Boot' menu and 'Secure Boot Control' (at the bottom) under the 'Security' menu?

I also recently updated to the new Bios. No problems at all for me.

When you downgrade to ver 207, you will see 'Secure Boot' and 'Lauch CSM' option, no matter win 7 or win 8. These option are missing when you up to 210 or later

We may need to get feedback from others, but I've downgraded my G75VW to bios 207 and am not seeing the 'Secure Boot' and 'Launch CSM' options anymore. If you didn't already, please confirm you see the 207 bios version under the 'Main' Menu of the bios and include some screenshots if possible, but doesn't make sense to me.

I only have an option for 'UEFI boot' under the boot menu with the G75VW 207 bios. Thanks.

Oh, thank you, Albert. It's my mistake. As you said, there is only UEFI option in ver 207. The later version may automatic enable UEFI, when u insert USB bootable or something like that, there are 2 option, UEFI or normal.

Good evening, how do I find out which current BIOS version I have at the moment?

It's easier if you are using Win7, but just tap the 'F2' or 'delete' kay as soon as you power on to get into the 'Main' menu of the bios and see the version.

As a side note, you can press the 'F12' key to momentarily see the bios model in the bottom right-hand corner which also appears when you start the bios flashing process.

If you prefer, you can also run the ASUS Winflash utility inside Windows, but you need to download and load a bios file to see the Winflash interface and bios version.
If you actually plan to flash the bios though, some people feel it's a little safer to use the bios flash utility inside of the bios instead of Winflash inside of Windows.

Can i get some help flashing to bios 223? I am new to asus and dont understand all the terminology. What does unzip mean? Fat18 usb?
I downloaded the winflash, but think Id rather do it using the easyflash in bios. Thanks in advance guys!
