Since I pick the white file did the bio update it suppose to restart it didn't, so I click power back on it works great nothing happen. I have no clue about set default because it never ask me about set it. I hope I'm doing it right way but since I already updated it seem working okay for now. Sorry about my English writing, I do know I'm not very best at it let me know if you want me rewrite it again thanks

Did you enter BIOS, and run "EasyFlash"?

Then go back into BIOS, and check first tab and look for BIOS Version.

So far my system running good no problem.

I have been looking around to see what the changes were in the BIOS update, but couldn't find any. Has anyone else been able to see what this particular update changed aside from the 3D Screen-less (whatever that is...) that's mentioned from the download page?

ok guys i updated my g75vw with this and behold my FIRST ever ROG bluesceen...

Im running a
Windows 7 Professional
Intel® Core™ i7 3610QM Processor
16 GB DDR3 1600 MHz SDRAM
Pioneer Blu-Ray DVD Combo
2 SSD - 128 GB Samsung 830, 240 GB Vertex 3 Max IOPS Edition
Full HD (1920x1080) on NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 660M 2GB
Machine.

after i updated to the newest bios 223 I had constant bluescreens which mentioned allways different Issues and hit after different uptimes.
the fastest was after 3 sec uptime the slowest after 60 min uptime. had around 15 of em when I realised this is permanent. I needed to downgrade the bios 😕

I downgraded the bios with the help of the winflash /nodate command to bios 221 and everything is running super smooth again!
(I was super scared of the possibility of a bluescren during Bios downgrade, which would probably brick ure system)

the original reason for updating the bios for me was the issue with the instant shut down after hibernating, which was solved with the 221 bios aswell 😄

so just as a safety remark for all users out there, if u dont need the 223 changes stick with 221 which runs smooth and save.

cheers

PS: maybe a asus technician can look into the bluescreen issue with the system information provided.

No you need to extract the zip file to your USB formatted fat 32, coping the extracted file will cause a failure
