the ram that you bought is supposed to be compatible, read here. just make sure you put them in properly.

don't worry about the model number of g75.

let us know how this RAM goies, im also looking this particular model

I got two 4gb sticks from Crucial and they worked great. Only issue was I apparently did not seat one of them properly the first time so I popped them out and replaced them. All was fine after that.

Yeah it's just putting them in at a 45 degree angle that seems to be the issue. I had the same problem, never realized that was how to seat the RAM

I've been using G.Skill in all of our G series upgrades and haven't encountered any issues besides the occasional DOA

I am using the 8 gig sticks of basically the same G-Skill memory for about a month now and no issues. I have used G-Skill in all my builds and laptops for about 4 years now and never had any problems.

Just so everyone knows!!! G-skill memory DOES work with g75vw with no problems! The kid on newegg had no idea what he was doing or it was doa.
