I'm talking about something similar to the "Fine Tune Dark Areas" setting on LG TVs. The lowering of gamma due to low refresh rates is extremely noticeable on this monitor, I don't mean flicker but black levels being raised when refresh rate goes below 240hz. Even at 120hz/fps, dark areas look really bad and have posterisation.
I'm kinda surprised there is nothing already available to mitigate this issue on monitors(again not talking about VRR flicker)
