short: monitor issues after bios update - after hard rest okay again
i'm not sure if this problem is related to the monitor at all and not perhaps caused by other components (i also suspect the RAM). in any case, i would like to point out the problem, maybe it will be helpful in some way.
i have already updated the bios of the “ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO” mainboard 3 times and always had problems afterwards. the bios update process runs smoothly and the system restarts. the restart takes forever (hard reset necessary) and the monitor indicator led changes from red to orange. i often have the feeling that the monitor loses its active state. as if windows is not activating it often enough or vice versa.
also: in my opinion, the indicator should change from orange to red much faster when the pc boots/restarts.
