As the topic asks, will this monitor get support for AC in the future please? It is not listed as a supported device on ASUS site, and of course, not in AC to control RGB on back.

Hello 1toadfacedfrump
In the Tech Specs under Mechanical Design, it shows the ROG Strix XG27UCG-W supports Aura Sync.
To have control in Aura Sync, connect the usb-b to usb-a cable to your monitor and a pc usb port.
Open Armoury Crate and check for updates at the update center.
After the update, check Aura Sync, does your monitor appear there?

Thank you for the reply. This monitor only has an HDMI, display port, and a USB C connections, no USB a or B, pretty stripped down connection options. Tried plugging my C hub into the USB C on monitor, then a USB A to USB C into ASUS motherboard, but it didn't work.
Did update all needed updates in AC as well before starting.

Thank you again for the reply and direction. I restarted my PC several times with the C to C cable connected, and AC finally showed another update, the HAL update, and that fixed the issue!! Thank you again!!

You're welcome
Ok, you have the usb-c to usb-c upstream connection. Connect the usb-c to usb-c cable to your monitor and pc.
Using a hub could cause it to fail.
Does this guide help? Replace the usb-b to usb-a cable with your usb-c to usb-c cable.
