Should I return my PG279Q ?

So I finally bought a PG279Q, thinking that by now all should have the new firmware.
But I see that my new monitor was manufactured in Feb 2016, so presumably before the fix ?
Any way to check if I should keep or return the monitor ? View firmware version ? Any known way to trigger the bug ?

If you're not getting the symptoms of the lines on your screen, then your monitor must be updated. Also, if your monitor does not have dead pixels, minimal backlight bleed, etc I'd keep it cause you're lucky.
