ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM - Thermite letters

Hello everyone!

I received my ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM monitor today and it turns out that when the monitor is in factory settings the image is clear, when I try to activate a profile setting the letters are blurred!

Can you help me with this?

Hello MelissaJesus

Have you updated the firmware to version MCM105?

Connect the usb-a to usb-b cable to do the update.

Is it any better after updating the firmware?

Hello,

Yes, I've already done that update! I have the latest monitor update!

And the update is for HDR and I don't use HDR!

Thank you

Can you be a little more clear on what profile setting you're activating and post us a screenshot of the blurry letters?

The profile setting I'm trying to activate is RTS/RPG MODE!

I attach images, I hope you can understand!

Thank you

I took some screenshots of your reply with RTS/RPG mode and Racing mode. I'm not noticing much of a difference, but for text, you might want to try a different mode. I personally use Racing mode.

But I look at the letters and they shake like an optical illusion, I think it's strange!

Hi @MelissaJesus

Here's Racing vs RPG

If you're not used to OLED,  the PenTile arrangement may cause text to appear slightly fuzzy or less sharp compared to other display technologies, its one of its few shortfalls.

Hello guys.

i have the same problem.
with factory reset work fine, when I change to another game visual letters come with blur and and my vision like a optical illusion. VividPixel config crash my letters

Vivid Pixel isn't intended for text, in fact for gaming it can vary whether it's worth having on (perhaps for lower resolutions).
