Hello,
there were several other posts here but their threads got locked due to inactivity....
I am still using this monitor daily and I spent a decent amount of money on it in the first place.
I am really confused as why a firmware update cannot be released publicly for this model... Today I saw that another ROG PG display with GSYNC built in has a new piece of firmware that users can install themselves!

Why can't Asus release the firmware patch for the PG279QE in a similar fashion
I have been told to just unplug it and plug it back in every so often, but it was a several hundred dollar purchase and not a budget display... it is absurd that it's my only venue.
