Query regarding ROG Swift OLED PG48UQ VESA mount

I am considering purchasing a ROG Swift OLED PG48UQ monitor. I intend to mount it with a monitor arm, specifically an Ergotron HX Desk Monitor Arm. This arm will easily support the weight of the monitor and by replacing the extension legs, I can convert it to supporting the VESA 300mm x 300mm mount pattern.

However, I am concerned about the height of the monitor's VESA mount vs the location of the monitor's VESA mount plate. The monitor arm will allow for the center of the VESA plate to be adjusted to any position between 6.3" and 17.8" above the desk surface. For maximum extension of the monitor, the ideal height is 12.6" above the surface of the desk.

From what I can tell from observation of the pictures of the monitor's back, this should not be a problem for use with the ROG PG48UQ.  However, I am unable to find any definitive measurements of the location of the backplate on the monitor. The user manual does not have this data and, ths far, tech support has been unable to determine and relasy this information to me.

Therefore, I am asking if anyone here who has this monitor orhas access to one could do some measuring for me. In specific, I need to know the distance from either of the following:

  • the top or bottom edge of the monitor to the center of any VESA screw mount hole.
  • the top or bottom edge of the monitor to the center of the VESA mount position.
