PG35VQ General Availability?

I know the monitor was unveiled during CES 2017, just wondering whether a concrete release date has been mentioned other then Q4 launch.

@Syraxal That's grossly overpriced if that's the case. I mean the difference between 60hz to 144hz is pretty noticeable but 144hz to 200hz I can't see it being very noticeable. once you get to a certain point, it's negligible. And HDR, how many games supptot it? Hope they solved the ghosting issues with VA. I guess I'll compare it to the other monitors at CES.

Barring any major issues, I'm in for $2000us
I've been waiting to upgrade, if it takes them a extra quarter or two to dev this piece no biggy. Just don't release it and disappoint me!

I want curved, I want HDR, I want quantum dots, I want 200hz (yes i want 200hz not 144hz), I want aura, I want gsync
I don't want ghosting, I dont want bleeding, and I don't want anything that doesn't have a ROG badge 😉

I'm torn between waiting for the PG35VQ or getting one of the ultrawides that are currently available. I just finished my coffee lake build and I'd love to pair it with a sweet ultrawide gaming monitor. Given the lack of updates for the PG35VQ or the ACER X35, I'm not sure I can wait, and I really have my eye on the Alienware AW3418DW. For those folks on this thread who have purchased the Alienware, now that you've had it for a few weeks, how are you liking it? Is the IPS glow okay? Noticed any issues from overclocking to 120hz?

@K0T0005 CES Isnt over, but yeah if there isn't even a mention of a possible date or even just a price speculation, then it will be disappointing.

I read a quote on overclock that a rep at the ROG booth said there wasn't going to be any monitors to show off or any updates right now. I wouldn't expect any updates till there are updates.

My speculation is there absence from CES, and their silence means that the release is going to be very soon.
