I bought this monitor 1 week ago. It's my first OLED and HDR monitor (coming from ISP).
I seem to have the same troubles with HDR like a lot of other people. I already updated to firmware MCM105 but the quality of HDR (judging from an unexperienced point of view) seems rather deflating.
In fact: I sometimes have the feeling that the image quality (in terms of sharpness and colors) is better in SDR than with HDR enabled..
I tried several settings on the monitors OSD (Brightness Adjustable and set to 100, Gamma 80, Saturation 65)
but didnt get the image to be satisfying not to mention perfect... which I honestly expected from the start (and without calibrating for hours myself) from a upper class oled monitor.
In every thread I found here the solution (if there was one at all) was that the thread-opener got a pm and later on said it was solved. So because there doesnt seem to be an official workaround I want to ask for help myself.

Weirdly sometimes HDR brightens up the image compared to SDR. Sometimes it seems to be the other way around...
I'm totally confused and out of ideas
The last two pictures show it best when you take a look at the detail on the trees bark. SDR seems sharper.
