Hi folks!

Last I heard was that this monitor would be releasing in December 2015. I was curious if anyone knew more information.

Thanks!

Calling Amazon back

:update #1 on hold for Supervisor at amazon
update#2 the supervisor I just spoke with confirmed what the prior amazon CSR told me 15 minutes ago, that all preorders will be canceled because they will not begetting stock and have no idea when they will be, I read what you wrote to them xxthe and the person said that is false because they are not even showing any stock on their end at all

Jesus what a cluster**** on ASUS' part. I feel bad for Amazon because they're getting the full blunt of the customers anger. If they would only give us some information. Ridiculous.

hello Folks, well I received my Acer X34 today , it was Overnighted to me. I am not a reviewer I am just a regular Joe , has a Job, a wife , A mortgage etc. etc. etc. so there is quite a bit of BLB "Black Light Bleed" if you are sitting up close to it , I honestly don't know what I will do , if I will send it back to Amazon and try for another one? I just don't know yet, I don't really know much about BLB and how it will affect my Display or my play experience. I play EQ2 and I really don't notice it while playing that game. but on another note my wife and I bought a 27" IPS ASUS Monitor from bestbuy and the BLB on that is Horrid! it pretty much takes up the whole screen, , but this Acer is beautiful , I takes up a lot of desktop space but I was very awed at how it looks in game. any way that's my .02 maybe I will try the ASUS when it comes out , I said in an earlier post I was done with them though so time will tell.

I Imagine the fiasco with the PG279Q has ASUS going over these with a fine toothed comb. Or at least I hope that is the case. I can wait if it means a near guarantee of a perfect monitor.

Though I WISH ASUS would let us know something, give us a heads up. Their patient customers.

you would be disappointed if you think you might get a perfect monitor no matter what you will always get back light bleed on monitors especially with newer monitors so far from what i heard about this monitor is that it has coil wine and a bit of back light bleed just be ready for anything

No. Buying a $300 IPS monitor you don't experience BLB at all. So don't defend Asus and their laughable QC like it'd be something as normal as IPS glow.

why would i defend asus look at acer x34 launch was horrible just saying not to expect nothing and getting a perfect monitor would probably be dumb even people that receive almost no IPS glow or back light bleed they still have it in there monitor.

And both Acer and Asus use the same AUO panels.

As I said before, the amount of BLB has more to do with it being bleeding edge technology and the failure rate of panels being higher than lower tech panels.

cancelled my preorder too. I was really looking forward to getting this monitor but oh well, Im not tryna wait months for a preorder. I would get the x34 but i hate the predator logo on the bezel lol
