I usually run my PG32UCDM in sRGB Cal SDR mode on the desktop. For gaming I switch Windows to HDR mode using Alt-Win-B and switch back to SDR afterwards.
The weird thing is that after switching back the SDR picture is darker than before. This is not just subjective because HDR was so bright.
- Going to the monitor brightness settings and just tapping +1/-1 will make the image visibly brighter
- I own a colorimeter so I could actually measure that brightness dropped from 120 cd/m2 to around 80 cd/m2. After the brightness +1/-1 dance it's back to 120 cd/m2
This is on the the latest 108 firmware but happend also on 105. Does anybody have the same experience? Any fixes?
