Hey y’all, MCM105 is currently available for download but strangely the date listed is from 2024/04/09 and it’s the third in line underneath MCM103 and MCM302. Try it out everyone!

edit: It's now in the right order, at the top of the list.
Are you kidding me.... IT WAS HIDDEN BETWEEN THE OLDER FIRMWARE VERSIONS 102 AND 302 LOWER DOWN THE LIST?! lel
Honestly, this made my day XD
For using Asus products since 2013, this is the first time they put a driver/firmware in the wrong order.
What a pleasant surprise 😄
I even messaged an admin to ask about the upcoming firmware update apparently well after the release date of 105. Sorry for not looking more thoroughly, although I think I used to scour this monitor's entire support/driver page a couple of times this month.

Gaming HDR was my favorite before the update and especially so now. https://youtu.be/po4WQVcQHCs?si=5yOzPzY1vWAlcbw3

peak brightness in dolby vision gaming mode is limited to 500 nits (both 10% and 100% white) 🙃

Download and install this. I forgot if there is an Asus setup for this, but if not, then find your PNP monitor in the device manager and manually update via this folder (ensure the subfolders checkbox is also checked).
Then restart your PC for safe measure. I think even without restarting, the certifications should show up, but for me, programs like Steam had that nice warm tone HDR all over it when I was on HDR; after installing this driver, a quick restart brought back the SDR-like color pop for Steam.

Make sure the monitor isn't falling back to HDR10 format when playing non-DV full screen content, check the top-right corner of the OSD.
