PG32UCDM: Issues with the One Key Update

Hi,

I have major problems with the ASUS One Key Update process on my PG32UCDM monitors. Unfortunately, the update only runs under certain conditions, otherwise it fails.

I was able to perform the update using workarounds, but it would be nice if ASUS made the One Key Update process more robust in the future.

First of all, I have the problem that the One Key Update program cannot be started if several (identical) ASUS monitors are connected to the system at the same time. This is easy to solve by turning off all monitors except the one you want to update so that it disconnects from the system. Nevertheless, it is very annoying.

The second problem is that the One Key Update fails every time other devices are connected to the same USB controller. The only way for me to solve the problem was to connect my PG32UCDM monitors to a USB hub and this USB hub to a USB port that was connected to a different USB controller than the other occupied USB ports on the motherboard (ROG CROSSHAIR X670E HERO).

The combination of these two workarounds ensures that a PG32UCDM is the only device connected to the USB controller and this is the only way to perform the update.

All drivers and the motherboard BIOS are up to date.
