PG32UCDM how to force pixel cleaning

rmse17

I founded that when connected to my laptop over DP the pixel cleaning is unsuccessful even if I wait 10 minutes (should be more than enough time?)

so I just unplugged it from all computers, but when I go to settings, most menu options are just gone!  The only options under System Setup are “Power Setting” and “DisplayPort Stream”.   The entire protection submenu is missing….   Is a computer necessary for pixel cleaning??

how do I tell the monitor to run pixel cleaning?

Do you have a screen saver set, or a timer to turn off monitors after some time? If so, when windows turns off the monitor during the pixel cleaning, that will cause the process to fail (because the monitor displays the "no signal" message and therefore interrupts the pixel cleaning process). You can prevent that by either turning off the screen sleep time or setting its timer to 15 minutes or more before starting the pixel cleaning manually.

I wrote a windows script that automates your latter solution.
