When the video output is set to HDMI 1 and I manually switch to DisplayPort (DP), but the PC connected to DP is not yet outputting a signal, the monitor continues to display the image from HDMI 1. Once the PC on DP is turned on and I want to switch to DP, I first have to select HDMI 1 in the monitor menu and then select DP again to get a picture from the DP source. This is quite inconvenient and interrupts the workflow.
This behavior occurs when "Automatic Input Selection" is enabled. I have not tested what happens if this option is disabled. Is there a fix planned for this issue in the near future?
For reference: My PG27UCDM does not have this problem.
Steps to Reproduce:
Set the monitor input to HDMI 1 (signal present)
Manually switch to DisplayPort while the PC on DP is off (no signal)
Monitor continues to display HDMI 1 output
Turn on the PC connected to DP and try to switch to DP
You must first select HDMI 1 again, then DP, to get the DP signal
Expected Behavior:
The monitor should switch directly to DP and display the signal as soon as it is available, without requiring the user to reselect HDMI 1 and then DP.
Additional Information:
Issue occurs with "Automatic Input Selection" enabled
Not tested with the option disabled
PG27UCDM monitor does not show this behavior
